Black Power

 I utilize all the colours of the rainbow to portray my vision of black excellence. My current artistic style is spontaneous realism, realistic visuals with unrealistic hues. Black, is a colour itself, but black as a race has many hues in my mind and that's how I choose to portray it. I drew a woman with the print of the African continent on her face, in green and blue, symbolizing the motherlands that we came from. The afro, a distinctive black feature, shaped into a fist, a symbol of black power. The colours are meant to convey the brilliance of black excellence through their vibrancy. Black is beautiful, powerful, strong, resilient, proud, it is every and any colour there is mixed in one and in this piece, I aimed to bring all those colours out, symbolizing our excellence and power.
